Wasn't sure where to post this and tried to search all over for an answer. Is it possible to upgrade a previous expansion to collector's edition? I was hoping to purchase the upgrade for Chaos Descending, would love the house and teleport
You could post about it in the Feedback channel on these Forums. The devs do see that. However, the whole point of offering pre-purchase benefits is to incentive us to spend our money early on the new expansions, so they can get that revenue in before year-end. If people knew they could buy that stuff afterwards in any form, that incentive is wholly lost. If you want to be a bleeding-edge raider, you probably need all the bells and whistles. I won't deny that having the mount, mercs, familiars, etc.isn't a help for those who don't raid. But honestly, you can still raid even if you don't have the pre-order stuff, it's just more effort required on the player's part to get equipped and specced and really learn their class.
