So I thought I wanted to do Fallen Gate but I just dont have the time. So I went to uninstall EQ2 and I get this error: Runtime Error! ProgramC:\Users... This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unsual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. So, I googled it and found a few threads about it over the last year but no real solution to the issue. I really need to free some space up on my SSD and I really don't want to delete other MMO's that I actually play. Hopefully someone has a solution.
If uninstalling from the LaunchPad doesn't work, you can simply click on your game folder in File Explorer and press the Delete key.
You might also need to do a search on your computer for Daybreak Games, EverQuest 2 and Sony Online Entertainment. The game is notorious for leaving files behind, even when the uninstaller works properly.
i am also having this issue, ive tried everything to delete it but nothing works, its still on my pc and i cant get rid of it. i tried to delete it from files explorer but that doesnt help.
You can check in but you can never leave mwahahaha - seriously though, I use CCleaner to get rid of all my unwanted stuff and it's never failed me yet (never tried EQ though obvs)
