Trouble picking a tank (new player)

    Hello all.

    I am relatively new to EQ 2 and I have the opportunity to tank for a small guild on my server (live not TLE). I have been playing around with the various tank classes and was wanting input on what would be a good tank to pick. It will be group stuff mostly (don't think there are plans on raiding).

    To get this out, I don't want to play a Shadow Knight. I was looking mainly at a berserker or a paladin.

    Also, if I may: Do berserker's duel wield tank or is that just for DPS?

    What are the pros/cons for the berserker/paladin?

    I will be soloing/duoing most of the time as I level if that also helps.

    Also how are monks as group tanks? I am interested in them also.
