Troll and Rat Illusions, Why?

I can understand the fact that we as Coercers are more about control and Illusionists are more about illusions. But why are our only 2 illusion spells useless? If we are suppose to be;

a.) Evil
b.) Master of Control

Than what is the point of being a rat or a troll? You can not use them to explore the good cities. And really if your a member of the evil city what is the point of a disguise?

I think we would be better severed to have illusions like High Elf and Wood Elf, then we could at least explore new areas. Or maybe some nice monster illusions like Goblin or Orc.

Rat = shrink
Troll = grow
Be thankfull because we got something usefull alike illusionists

When do we get the Rat Illusion at 30 anyways? I'm like 30.9 right now and I don't have it yet. Do I have to buy it like the 20 gimmick spells?

yes you have to buy it. just do the petrified eye quests, they're good exp too.

I've done tons of petrified eye quests. Crap exp, but fun.

Goblin or Orc illusions would be fun. I would terrorize the n00b zones :smileyvery-happy:

Yes they work, and they make our spells even more meaningless.

Has anyone confirmed that being under the influence of a petrified eye illusion (such as high elf) allows you to enter Qeynos without getting escorted out? I haven't tried with my halfling eye yet (only goodie version eye I have) but the guards in TS don't con me any different. I was just wondering if there was any practical effect for the eyes other than size reduction in dungeons.

Illusion do not change faction so to enter into Quenos you have to use bell or peat bog zone
