I'm going to be starting over in game, fresh and new, and I'm facing a decision, what class to play. Way, way, WAY back in the day (DoF), I played a dirge to cap, and I'm thinking of coming back to it (I have a level 30 one to kick off with). I enjoyed a lot of the class, it's diversity and it's group desireability. I disliked a couple things though. Absolutely terribad DPS and being a rez-bot in raids. I loved the speed, I loved the group buffs and encounter debuffs. The feel and versatility was great. How are things currently? How do we fare in battlegrounds? The second is a main concern for me, as PvP in EQ2 really picques my interest.
