I haven't leveled up a crafter from 0 in a while but recently decided my raiding Brig needed a tradeskill. As I recall, previous tiers upgraded the writs on the even levels but I'm still getting level 44 writs even though she's now lvl 48. It seems like this would be a good place to implement some consistency across tiers and improve the flow of advancement without making any major structural changes. It's a bummer to get no discos or even-con recipes from grinding writs for such a long period of time and t5 is kind of a barren stretch right before the t6 quests kick in. Just sayin' maybe it could use some love...
You've misremembered, or you haven't done TS writs in a long long LONG time http://eq2.zam.com/wiki/Tradeskill_Writ_Guide Up through Tier 8 (level 20 through 80) there are only three writs per tier: Level x0 only contains level x0 recipes (Work Order or Rush Order) Level x4 contains level x1-x4 recipes (Talented Work Order or Talented Rush Order) Level x9 contains level x5-x9 recipes (Difficult Work Order or Difficult Rush Order) In Tier 9 there are four writs, offered at 81, 83, 85, 87, and 89.
