I was playing around with this today getting one of my level 85 toons to 90 and I couldn't figure out how to activate the final area. As far as I could tell I killed everything else in the zone except the mobs that were un-targetable and located at the end of the zone. Couldn't click either crystal like in the solo version you do at part of ToT so not sure what I am missing. Couldn't find any answers on EQ2 Wiki either.
Did you kill the tree mob? or the golem thing all the way to the back, have to run up a ramp. Once you kill all the named (spider, drachnid, water dude, kobold, fairies, tree, golem) then you will see message on screen that there was crazy howling (summarizing), then that mob will be up. Then it's finished.
