Found his note saying climb that hill to get his journal. Arrived at the base of the hill. Merc and I killed a bunch of mobs to get there. Tried climbing, tried flying mount, can get up part way. About even with the lower grassy hill part. But cannot get up to the top of the hill. I tried all the way around, trying to find a path up by moving slightly all the way around. Still only get up about a third of the way up. Says 38th level quest, character is 36th. Kerran, evil, Guardian. Am I missing something ? Do I climb a nearby hill and fly over there ? Thanks !
https://eq2.fandom.com/wiki/Finding_Fulgation I think this may help. Find a way on top of the hill near Camp Cobalt where Remmy's field journal is. There is a cliff at /waypoint -379, 113, 986 that has a stone at the top. Right click the stone and hit "Hook It". There is one more to hook, just above Remmy's cooking pot. The Journal of Remy Fulgation is the small book right next to the bedroll, labeled Fulgation's Field Journal. Click it to pick it up (you might have to crouch and zoom in to see it). To get down, right click the stone and hit "lower yourself down".
That worked. I saw the lower rock and managed to climb to that spot near there. But just couldn't get up to the top. And no need to go around the other side and fight all the mobs, although it would help leveling up.
