For those who don't know, you can create a dungeon in dungeon maker for free and use it to store all those household items. Give access to it for your alts and select friends, and they can go in and take whatever they need that is tradeable. Heirloom items can only be removed by the character that placed them, but re-open once placed in a shared bank slot. It's not a perfect system, but no more clogged bank slots! It's easy to clear all the pre-placed items before you begin, and a good idea to do so. You can see exactly what an item looks like rather than dig through bank slots and guess, too. Also don't forget that for large items or multiples, you can scroll shrink them to take up less space and/or stack them on top of each other.
I personally have one for indoor items, such as furniture, wall hangings, etc. and one for outdoor, like plants, animals and so forth. You can make as many specialized dungeons as you need.

Don't want to fill a backpack with fuel for those outdoor tradeskill quests? Use a large general sales crate in the broker (I prefer the last slot) and put your fuel in there. Not listed for sale, of course. With broker anywhere, you can easily open the broker window and remove the fuel you need, keeping your bags clear. Unless they changed it while I was away, each stack of 200 only takes up one box slot, so you can carry a large variety of the fuels you may need for different quests, or just some quick field use if you need supplies and have a traveling work station.

Making a new alt? Don't forget you can get a 52 slot lore box cheap with loyalty tokens, It's a great size for keep items, or harvests. While you're there, pick up some treasure hoards, the 25% rent reduction effect stacks with the one you get free, and you'll never pay rent again!

Coins, coins, coins, how to keep track of them all? They can be removed from your character sheet, and placed in your inventory (most of them anyway). Once placed in your bag, they can then be moved to the shared bank vault for easy access by all your characters, and stack regardless of who obtained them. Tinkerfest sprockets are a tradeskill item and can go in your harvest depot, but keep a few in the bank for quick purchases during tinkerfest.
