Static effect stacking issues on high-end items

So I PMed Kander about a stacking issue I came across between the fixed "When Equipped" stat effects on two items I have (the first one listed below).

I have since heard about the same issue tonight between another (different) two items from someone else (the second listed below - not confirmed myself).

(1) "Solusek's Burning Wrath" + "Hoop of Raging Sqaulls"

Effects: "Perpetual Lamentation" + "Storming Squall"

Result: a loss of 5 Potency

(2) "Blood Soaked Band of Conquest" + "Devoured Tavalan Skull Charm Necklace"

Effects: "Scrutiny of the Hounds" + "Siren's Dirge"

Result: a loss of 5 Crit Bonus

So I figured a thread might be a good place to get a list going, because there are probably more conflicts out there that other players would be able to idenfity.


Note: Confirmed the stacking issue on my items by stripping off all gear (otherwise naked toon), and pairing off items and checking that the actual stat totals matched with the expected totals.

(3) "Solusek's Burning Wrath" + "Bangle of the High Seas"

Effects: "Perpetual Lamentation" + "Storming Tempest"

Result: a loss of 5 Potency

Oh noes...loot creator 3.1 has dropped the ball again.

(4) "Ring of Death's Intent" + "Ring of Planar Scrutiny"

Effects: "Scrutiny of the Hounds" + "Scrutiny of the Hounds"

Result: an overall loss of 5 Crit Bonus and a loss of the 1550 health

Karana's Hood of Shadowed Strife (Timeless Tempest) + Woven Band of the Prime Healer (Perpetual Lamentation)
lost 5 potency....

the 3% potency from the Enduring Hydra-Scale Shackle does not stack, all other portions of the effect do.

Effects: "Perpetual Lamentation" + "Sky Blue Aura"
Result: a loss of 5 Potency

Atm ppl don't want any of the loot dropping cause of the bugs with lack of stacking.
A fix is needed asap

Why do items have static effects at all? I assumed they were not supposed to stack, but they grew into gigantic stat arrays on every item with no indication of what it does or doesn't stack with. Those should be on the base item stats; not broken up into two different parts.

Static effects with one single stat which name the effect type (like "does not stack with other stout effects") are cool.
