Wizards and Warlocks have a few spells are are exactly the same except the type of damage they do. For example Sunstrike and Soul Blister, or Ball of Inceneration and Null Distrotion. My question is, why does their Cremate do almost double the initial damage of Shadowed Pyre? As far as i know they are basically the same spell, both tick every two seconds and last for ten seconds. Maybe this is a bug and maybe people have said something about it before and i missed it, or better yet maybe im missing something and they are equal in damage. Sorry i dont have any hard numbers for ya to look at :(

I think Cremate lasts only 8 seconds, so thier higher initial damage compensates for our longer duration spell. The spells are really apples and oranges, the only real difference being one does Poison damage and the other does Fire.

IIRC yes it ticks for less time.
But its a DD anyway, its thier zone it shuold be higher.

Im fine with it being slitghly lower.
