Yes, rince test, and use it as a real test server. Allow us to copy to test again. STOP THIS NO SENSE OF NO TEST SERVER.
Can this please fix the goddamn network lag. Its 2020 no MMO should have network lag with 24-36 people in a zone man. Cmon.
Things happen, folks. Sometimes computers go down and mistakes are made. Go outside and enjoy the air while they address the issue.
Well, you know, those Jadeite medallions needed to be fixed. Pain not getting what's coming to you. Not particularly concerned about what level Bridon Kizzlebash's Diaku Corral quests were listing at, as long as you were getting experience and status from them. Made it through Diaku Corral solo before all these changes. Yeah, it was a challenge, especially the last one only giving you half a second before Vleecan Fele bounces you toward the shark pit, THE ENTIRE FIGHT! Barely time to target the adds to drag them over to you and your merc. HINT: Find a corner and hunker down as well as you can. Ditto with Sergio. Don't need no mouse hint for the mechanical bull game; unless you're color blind.
Darkpaw: We're only going to have updates and patches twice a month Community: OMG WTF THAT'S HORRIBLE WE HAVE TO WAIT BLAH BLAH WHINE WHINE Darkpaw: We're going to have multiple patches this week to fix issues with GU Community: OMG WTF THAT'S HORRIBLE WHY NO TEST SERVER BLAH BLAH WHINE WHINE I know you can't please all the people all the time, but jfc this place is Chicken-Little on a daily basis and gets their panties in a wad NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS!
It's actually not network lag. Ping times, for me, to the servers is always 80-150ms. If was network lag, you'd be seeing 250-500ms ping times to your server. The problem is the servers are overloaded and taking 1-6s to respond when you click an ability - especially in raid / PQ This is also mostly due to the stat inflation, the TONS of buffs and debuffs each player / NPC gets.. it's all too much for the server side software to handle because it can't use multiple CPU threads for the instance your group/raid is in - even on modern hardware This lag has started to become unbearable even on Skyfire which is a VERY low populated server. I left Majdul for this very reason last year. It was taking up to 7-10s for the server to process your ability clicks while in raid To solve the issue, they need to get rid of some of the buffs and stats on players and NPCs and reduce the number of calculations the software needs to do (they need to start reversing the stat inflation on us AND the NPCs)
