We are a very small guild with some big plans. We just hit 65 and have decided to put on a server event of our favorite pastime- Dungeon Maker. This is our idea: We will run it on Halloween weekend starting October 31 through November 2. On November 3 we will look at which dungeon won the most likes. Since there is no way to separate the event dungeon maker dungeons from the rest of the server, we ask that you have NOTD Event in the name of your dungeon. To enter, send an email to ringswithin@gmail.com, subject NOTD event. Please include the name of your dungeon and the layout chosen. One dungeon per email address. Must be a dungeon published no sooner than October 31 - this is one minute after midnight PST. Because eq2 uses PST, we will use it too. If it is an older dungeon you want to enter, make sure it is republished and renamed to fit the rules. There will be no awareness on in any dungeon so that people who just want to invis and run through and judge your dungeon can do so. Remember that some who want to help promote a dungeon may not have time to play them all. However, those who want their likes to count must kill a few mobs or they won't count on the like poll at the end of the dungeon. We suggest making the first room easy and putting your exit a short way from your entrance to make this easier. The public will choose the dungeon- those who want to participate are encouraged to visit all of the dungeons and hit like if you like it and nothing if you don't. However in the interest of fairness if there are a lot of entries the judging time will be extended through the following week until all dungeons have been judged. Dungeons will be judged on Action and Style This is only fair since if we set up a panel they may not be partial. Someone with a lot of friends may win but that is a chance we have to take. Prizes: All prizes will be related to dungeon maker. 3 Runner ups - 2 randomly chosen Pandaman Spawners each - if you already have that one you can trade it for one you don't have Second place A set of 6 Pandaman Spawners First Place- Ratonga spawner- the Rokillik Shadowknight is what it is called - to give from the LON cards to the grand winner of the event (if you have this one you can opt to pass it to second place and take the spawners instead) Interested? if you are not on Butcherblock server, this leaves you plenty of time to place a toon here, level them up and build your dungeon. More Info: Players have until Oct 31 to build their dungeons. You can contact Fyuri, Mydera or Aerfren with the Rings Within the Circle guild if you would like to build your own dungeon but don't have the needed spawners. Fyuir owns almost all of them- including bosses and elites. You can pick up limited editions by running a few dungeons and getting dungeon marks to buy spawner packages. By giving Fyuri access to your dungeon, she can place any number of her spawners down for you and her effects. Each boss can be placed once. Each elite can be placed 3 times. The effect boxes can be placed between 4 to 10 times. All other spawners are unlimited. So let us know if you need help designing and placing spawners and effects in your own dungeon. You can test your dungeon before the 31st- in fact we encourage you to. The only reason for the publish date is so that all dungeons entered will start with a fresh slate- no likes. It doesn't matter if you made it a year ago and want to enter it- just make sure the difficulty is within the ranges and republish it on the 31st.
