It's pretty bad that a pay service has intrusive, obnoxious adverts. I could understand/accept embedded ads if I'm not logged into the site... but I'm logging in and paying an extra $3 a month for the EQ2 Players features and I'm subjected to ads for crap that I have no interest in whatsoever. These garbage ads should be disabled for registered players who are paying for EQ2 players advanced features. Sites like Allakhazam disables ads for registered users, why can't SOE do the same?
As Grimwell stated here, the pop-up ads are unintentional and are being removed as they're discovered. Please shoot Gnobrin or Grimwell a PM with the ad information (company name is ideal), and it will be dealt with.
