I'd bet that's something Feldon could build into EQ2U, but whether the effort required would be worth the end result, I have no idea.

So, I got curious and went looking. You said "Sensus" data (which was misspelled, census data) but the url you used is data.soe.com, but I couldn't find recent information regarding how to know all the query parameters that are available. I did find this website: http://census.soe.com/ which has all the info I was looking for. But unfortunately SOE requires a service account to use it. So how did you know which parameters to use in your query string?
If you look up a single random character (http://data.soe.com/xml/get/eq2/character/), you see a whole lot of data in XML format. Every data entry is somewhere in the tree. For example, your attack speed is under character_list -> stats -> combat -> attackspeed. Ignore the first one in the query and use dots between the names. So you'd get stats.combat.attackspeed. You start with a ? and then the things you want to look for. After that you can use c:show to only show certain information, and c:limit to say how many results you want (you only get 1 if you don't use this). Thanks Lemilla. I can't make it work for my toon. I don't know how to construct the URI part of the query string. I just want to see all char info for my Ranger, named "Kakryn". I'm trying the following : http://data.soe.com/xml/get/eq2/character/?name.first=Kakryn/ and get the default character_list query response with no data. I'm not a REST API expert so I'm sure I'm doing it wrong.
Remove the / at the end of that url and it will work. If you just want to see the stats of your character, you might be better off looking at eq2u or dragonsarmoury though. Those show the same information but a lot easier readable.
Sadly I guess Tonga out number us on AB...hopefully it's not like this throughout all servers. Kerrans are the ultimate race...at least until eqn.
Think you need to keep in mind these numbers do not include characters that have Census data turned off. Also if you're searching by name, anyone that has chosen the name you are looking for before data was available and has never logged in after, will also not show. (You know... those people that played for 20 minutes back in 2004 when the game first launched). Personally I use Kerran mostly so they have tracking and run speed, I could care less what they look like. People spend 30 minutes designing their face, then throw a helmet on them once in game. I think many pick Ratonga's for focus effects as well, like extra trigger on poisons, extra 15% duration on potions, etc.
