With us presently being in the ethernere where spirits go is it plausible that we could see more past foes, this would be very easy to add some more content with some former encounters with newer buff packages. I for one would like to kill some of them again in the afterlife so to speak.

Well, its easy to explain almost anything there. The only thing you couldn't explain is why a NPC who is suppose to be alive is both in Norrath and the Ethernere. Oh sorry, you can explain that too since it could be the same NPC from an alternate reality...where they met alternate You and were defeated but still hold a grudge.

Welcome to string dimesion mechanics with a single terminating point. The main question is why arn't you having to fight several of the same badguy all at once? Alternate dimension Erollisi Marr who lost to Innoruuk? Alternate dimsion Innoruuk where he failed and was hunted down by half the pathenon for being a general nuicence? Alternate dimsion Zek demigods who failed to kill their Rallos Zek?

Well we have not heard from Mayong in quite some time and I was just curious if we would get to see some of these powerful biengs that we have encountered before. I mean it would be quite interesting for a Roehn Theer in the ethernere.

Dear lord what if the final fight of the game led up to 10raids fighting the pantheon of gods all at once? A 240 man raid versus 10 gods... heck that would be epic, and crash the servers in less than 1 second.

alternate realities don't work that way. Cazic and Rallos basically foudn last ditch loopholes to try and spare themselves, but just becuase there was a fight between Ully and Emarr in our eq2 doesn't mean there was a fight in eq1. hell, Ully might not even exist in eq1. just like the Roekillik/Ratonga are either all securely locked in the Vault, or were never created.

also, remember what the Steward told you. Ethernere itself adjusts to your perceptions. someone who never knew Venekor existed might not ever see him. thier version of the Eidolon Jungle will be different then our version. they'd be asking the steward the same kind of questions about Rallos that we were about Cazic. their Eidolon jungle would be much more massive them ours.

their Temple of Cazic was controlled by Evil Eyes and maybe one of the demigods of Thule...not a froglok enslaving Dragon. just like we've never met some of the bosses/creatures from after the 'split' (talosians are an example here) or seen some of their 'raid bosses' (Ragefire is an example there) in our version of Ethernere..because our perception of what should be there affects what Ethernere allows to be there. the only obvious exception to that rule being the Gods who shouldn't ever been there in the first place on either side of the split.

I think your putting the cart before the horse Rainmare. The Ethernere conforms to the expectations of the beings in it, but the beings in it are there because they died. They arn't there to conform to our expectations. If that was the case, there should be an Obelisk of Lost Souls like structure in the jungle because we expect there to be one. There shouldn't of been a dead Cazic Thule because in our EQ2 experience he is definately alive, or conversly if we expect to see dieties there then all of them should be represented not just two of them.
The Ethernere also doesn't just conform to our expectations, it exists to hold all the dead souls (first and foremost) until they pass on to their final rest. Primaraly it is a waystation to the afterlife. Placing it outside of dimensions was a way for the devs to explain how Cazic Thule and Rallos Zek were both there in our Ethernere. It is also a way to explain things that haven't happened in EQ1 or EQ2 but show up there because...it could happen in another dimension that isn't either game.
Several books, especially books dealing with the Shadowmen, give alternate histories and alude to the possability that they could of happened on a different planet. It is also certainly possible that they could of happened on a different dimension.
Probably the best explination of why we haven't see any creatures that don't exist in our dimension would be that the Ethernere is vast, the Hord swallows up a considerable number of new souls, and that souls are more likely to end up in areas that are inspired by the places they "live" in Norrath. Rallos and Cazic both have major temples in the Fearrott so them both showing up in the same area makes sense. Cazic having a much larger control also makes sense since he should of been in the Ethernere much longer. I think we should of had a conflict going on between the followers of Fear and War as the two dieties tried to take control.
