Odol: What are they for and where do I spend them?

Well I just started playing again after year off and my main which is a 92 zerker stated doing the Shades of Drinal Timeline quests. After I finished the quest line an Obol dropped. So I started checking online to see what it was for and that's why I came here. I know the location of the Drinal that you can trade for them is here posting link.

I still new to this and I got 2 of these to drop and it was 1 right after I completed quest line and another as I logged on the next day. My question is as I mainly solo and advanced solo stuff how get I get more of these? I would do heroic instances but currently my guild is raid less so thats not an option as atm.

Also I still only halfway through my lvl 93 what the best way for me to get to 95?

Obols have a chance to drop off any CoE mob, and pretty much guaranteed off a named now. You use these to buy yellow adornments from one merchant.

Spirit Essences only drop off CoE heroic named mobs and the final boss of CoE raid zones. These can be used to buy red adornments or combined with obols to buy armor and weapons from the Drinal Steward in Cardin Ward (where Firona Vie was found on the questline).

Best/quickest way to 95 is forming a group in skyshrine. As a 93 tank, you can kill things with just a healer, so you don't need a full group, although the more you have the quicker things die.

If you can only solo, mentor to 80 and rip apart lower Sebilis.

Well I just got to 95 with help of xp potion and double xp tanking in ss
So where are the heroic named mobs at? My guild is pretty quiet atm so unless I can find a pickup raid that not happening.

The heroic instances of the advanced solo zones you did for the quest. the new Sleeper's Tomb, Temple of the Faceless, Throne of Fear, The new Chelsith, Wurmbone's End, Wurmbone's Crag, Dreadcutter, and Harrow's End. None of them need a full raid (unless one is doing the raid version of course). Merely a solid group.

Do you know how well the dungeon finder works or are people just asking chat channel for there lfg needs the way I do them?

The reason that you only saw 2 Obol drop while in the CoE zones would be the fact that they are invisible to players who have not completed the Signature quest line. So the drop rate on them looks a bit distorted if you are looking at how many mobs you killed up until that point. At least there is a key (forget its' exact name) that Drinal sells for 10 Obol that will unlock Obol for an alt - and you definitely get more than 10 while doing the Signature series once you can actually see them drop.

Harrow's End Key. And most use the chat channels Macatk. It may not be optimal, but a PUG will do.

Which merchant sells adornments for obols and essences?

Should be in the same room as Drinal on the right hand side.

That's not the one that sells the adornments. They are in the same room in Cardin's Ward, however.

I just put this together today to help with the Advanced Solo and Heroic Zones people here already mentioned so dont know if its all accurate but use it if you want.

Sleeper's Tomb - Heroic and Advanced Solo
Access this zone via a door down in the Pit of the Awakened in Eastern Wastes at
/waypoint39, -334, 2913 . You may need to widen the door menu to see all options.

You can get there by speaking to Brind on the Danek Shipyard dock in Jarsath Wastes.
The items to solve the zone are no-zone, so don't leave.

the others had not finished the signiture quest line or did not have an alt finish it to get the key to unlock them.

Ok I now have and 2 of 3 alts I gave Harrows End keys to and dont remember which one I didnt give key to. How can I tell who already got keys without trying get get them to try to loot an obol or spirit?

See if they can zone into HE heroic on their own?

Yes that worked fine thanks I could not enter so I know the one that needs the key.
