For a level 77 item, the new ceremonial shoes should be at least as good as the level 72 mastercrafted. For the most part, they are clearly a step down. I can't imagine why anyone would want the new slippers when the level 72 ones are clearly better for any mage. Of course, doing the solo quest lines will yield a pair of +1 crit and +80 spell damage (treasured!) or any simple solo named in Jarsath wastes will yield a pair of +120 spell damage legendary. Suggestions (pick one, all of them would be too strong) Bump the +spell damage up to 60-70 Change the +spell damage to +2 crit Change the +spell damage to +3 ability reuse or casting speed Add a ~400-600 damage proc. Would be nice to see crafted items with hostile spell procs much like melee get with imbued weapons. Good to see new items, but they should fit along progression with other items of the tier, at least to other crafted items. agressiv
