Before the wipe the quest to get the mount in new Halas was broken in beta because you need to equip an appearance only item and it would not let you. Has this been fixed? I didn't see anything about it in patch notes or heard anything from players who have done this after the wipe. If it hasn't been fixed, or doesn't get fixed it will give a huge disadvantage to Qeynos without a free mount like its counterpart.
I've tested it since the wipe happened and it is still an issue. On the beta Pvp server the mount quest is not able to be completed because you can't equip appearance items, which you need to do in order to complete the quest. This really needs to be fixed, since DLW has an equivalent quest but it actually works.
