We've pushed a new version of the EQ2 client executable that should fix the memory issues you've experienced since GU53. Please close your client and rerun your patcher to get the latest EXE.
Was crashing often until loading new client which slowed down the crashing but, didn't eliminate it. XP32 Intel quad, 3.25gb with the /3GB switch in boot.ini. The new client loads using approx 1gb of ram. The ram usage increments with subsequent zonings until the system crashes at the 2gb ram area. Not a fun way to play.
