Though we always investigate immediately when the crashes are occurring, we have recognized the recent uptick in server crashes and will be taking some extra time to look further into the issue.
MD appears to be up at the moment. If you are still not able to see your characters at character select, hit the up or down arrows on your keyboard a few times. Known bug; this usually restores the characters. Good luck!
