Monitor Problems

I purchased a new Monitor, lugged in itno the PC and started the game. However i can#t play the game anymore.
The new window for the game opens and after a second it closes and i am back to the desktop.
Can someone explain me what the problem is?

or just try to reinstall videocard drivers or stuff like that

Try right-clicking on the icon you use to launch the game and choose "Run As Administrator". More than likely te game is trying to adjust your display configuration on-the-fly, and that requires Administator to be set. Hope this helps.
