Hopefully the mail server gets fixed soon. But if this is truly stopping quests from advancing, they do need to add this to their lists of things to update. This way if we ever have this issue again, it will not stop the advancing of the quest line.
You should be able to go to the Isle of Mara and talk to Jerol on the Isle of Mara to receive the messages sent via mail. I know that this works for trade skill quest so I assume that the adventure side works as well. Have to agree I hope this is fixed soon
