Hi everyone! I'm seeing reports of log-in issues, particularly from those using the Streaming Client. I've got an email in to our ops team to see what's going on. I'll report back as soon as I hear something.
According to Technical Support, they have just a handful of tickets from folks reporting the issue, and all servers are up and populated. So, it's not a game server issue, sounds like possibly an odd glitch with log-in (session) servers. There's a ticket in the system so I'll keep an eye out for further correspondence from the Ops team. Thanks for your patience everyone. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience.
Here's what I did to log in since I have the streaming client and getting the same login error messages. Edit your eq2_default.ini file and add this line. cl_resource_address http://eq2.patch.station.sony.com/p...eq2/assets/live Save the file and then run EverQuest2.exe directly, bypassing the patcher.
The forums seem to be converting the web address into a link and truncating the name down. Be sure you type in the full URL. cl_resource_address http://eq2.patch.station.sony.com/p...eq2/assets/live
