I've been at my current job for like 20 years but I'm now having to look for something. Everyone told me to setup Linkedin since that's the new current thing or something. So I did and added a few co-workers and suddenly I'm being sent invite and recommendations from people I had literally forgotten all about from working with over the years. It's been really fun seeing everyone and bringing back the memories. It instantly made me think how fun this would be for guildmates through all the MMOs I've played since the early days of EQ2, WoW, Vanguard, SWTOR, etc, ad nauseam. It'd be so interesting to see what games people are playing now, or what guilds they're with, and how many "connections" we have, lol. Anyway, just sharing this thought with my fellow MMO players since I got a laugh out of it and nobody else would understand.
