Beautiful! You're missing the three low-level quested spells; Word of Force at level 20 from Splitpaw, and Mana Cloak and whatever-the-other-one-is at level 35 from Bloodlines. I'm not sure the level 36 spell is missing; it used to be Scintillating Aura, but that moved down to 33, and it seems they didn't move anything back up (or invent anything new) to fill its place. Guess we just have a long run between spells at that point... I was just starting on a simple level-by-level spell list (hoping that someone would finish it), but this trumps my efforts rather nicely. Still, here's the level 1-19 mage/enchanter spells for anyone else trying to make their own checklist: 3 - Lightning Burst 3 - Static Pulse 4 - Magi's Shielding 5 - Arcane Bindings 5 - Bind Sight 6 - Cure Arcane 7 - Gift of the Magi 7 - Lightning Shock 8 - Storm of Lightning 9 - Dispel Arcane 9 - See Invisibility 10 - Cerebral Spasm 10 - Charm 10 - Fascinate 11 - Ego Shock 11 - Mind Blast 12 - Signet of Intuition 13 - Consume Ego 13 - Daunting Gaze 13 - Veil of the Unseen 14 - Gloom 15 - Blink 15 - Mind Jolt 16 - Overwhelming Silence 16 - Stupify 17 - Cerebral Lash 18 - Breeze 19 - Binding Light
[/QUOTE] Illusory Allies Adept III Creates illusionary copies of the illusionist's group for a short duration. They confuse the enemies in target encounter into attacking them. Target: Enemy Power: 204 Casting Time: 1.0 seconds Recovery Time: 0.5 seconds Recast Time: 3 minutes Duration: 15.0 seconds Effect Radius: 50.0 meters Range: Up to 30.0 meters Class: Illusionist (55) Master: Subjugation (unlimited) Effects: Summons a limited pet to aid the caster Summons a limited pet to aid the caster Casts Memory Wipe on termination. Lasts for 1 seconds. Wipes most of the target's memory of aggression Summons a limited pet to aid the caster Summons a limited pet to aid the caster Summons a limited pet to aid the caster Summons a limited pet to aid the caster Just scribed this tonight, and it is quite an enjoyable spell. I've had alot of fun testing it. Think of it almost as summoning 6 constructs at one time for 15 seconds. Every one of the illusions has HP's (@ least 6k HP's), and each one of the illusions deals crushing damage to the target. So it's almost like sending in multiple personae's that don't cast spells and just melee. The thing that i plan on doing further testing on, is the aggro management part of the spell. As far as my limited testing has gone, the illusions maintain indefinate aggro throughout the duration of their existence. (whether or not fighters can taunt the encounter off the illusions has yet to be tested, but as for attaining aggro via high dps; myself nor a ranger i was grouped w/ were able to do so). So for 15 seconds the target encounter is doing no damage to you or your groupmates, but instead focusing damage on the illusions. If the illusions have enough HP's to sustain the enemy encounters DPS for the full 15 second duration of the spell than this spell in fact becomes a: 1 sec cast time Single Target DoT and Encounter target Stun for 15 seconds. My initial assessment of the spell is that it's fairly powerful, and alot of fun to use, with the only downside being that it has a 3 minute recast timer. I'd imagine that upgrading this spell (when they actually implement the other versions of it) works the same way upgrading our construct line would be, as truthfully this is just a dumbfire swarm pet w/ a huge fun-factor tied to it. Whether upgrading ranks means increasing each dumbfire pets crushing dps, changing the amount of up or down arrows the pets have, or increasing the amount of hp's each pet has, who knows. (maybe i should check the summoner boards to find out what changes w/ upgrades to their swarm dumbfire pets eh?) Each pet @ adept 3 rank was the same level of the illusionist (i.e. a 51 ranger in my group's illusion was a level 55 version of himself) Each pet @ adept 3 rank was a "no arrow" mob. Each pet used crushing damage regardless of weapons the groupmembers had equipped. Each pet is not considered part of the illusionist's group (i.e. they are not able to be buffed, nor do they partake in group-wide buffs) This spell is able to be cast on epic targets (thank you meathooks for applying for the epic testing position), though against epic targets, the illusions will most doubtfully have enough HP's to get through the full 15 sec duration, but it could be useful as a memwipe against epics in a few situations i'd think. My personal illusion did last through 2 blows from meathooks though...taking 6k damage for sure, and dying w/ the next 2500 point claw.....that puts the illusion at having somewhere between 6 and 8k'ish hp's. Anyways this spell is most enjoyable, and could be said to fit the bill of being our next "fun spell". It was definately worth purchasing a pearl to ease my curiousity about this new spell line. P.S. Think about When Group Illusion Gnoll is fixed haha! possibility of so so many gnolls....
Yah, I thought it was gonna be crap, I got it, and man did I die laughing at it. It's a really really fun spell. Another thing on it. If you have 2 encounters, and you cast it on 1, the other encounter WILL attack the illusions. Therefore it seems like they are using some godlike taunts that taunt anything that is attacking.
