Disabling all research of spells and do not allow familiars. This content was never adjusted for that and those extra stats/spell upgrades make it so trivial compared to vanilla.
It's basically impossible to balance anything with all the familiars/spell upgrades, its why live has panic scripts and stoneskins so the guilds with all the pay to win stuff can't just burn through it all. It will never happen, pray for an emulator or don't play.
