OK. When a monster hits you, it can take away health. Eating good player-made food helps replenish health. There are also healing potions that player crafters can make for you.

Sometimes monsters (or crafting, or your own spell casting) takes away power (also sometimes called mana). Drinking good player-made drink replenishes mana. There are also player-crafted potions that regenerate power, tinkered items (Overclocked Manastone), and you can do a heritage quest for the Manastone and have that as a clicky bauble that replenishes power.

Depending on which user interface you are using (the default one that comes with the game or a custom UI) you may see some boxes near your name that show up for trauma detriments (red), elemental detiments (yellow), or noxious detriments. If you are a healer or a mage, you can cure those detriments (mages may need some AA to be able to do this well). But there are player-crafted cure potions of all these detriments as well.

You can also get a curse, which shows up looking sort of like a regular detriment, but only a priest can cure a curse. There are no potions for it. If you are good-aligned, you can purchase a miracle from Mithaniel Marr that will cure a curse once during a fight.

I use Chinese to translate English. It is not easy to understand the different expressions of the language. I can't have a pattern to ask.

To write more precisely in English : 1) text that was translated by an online translator into English, translate back into Chinese. If result does not seem right to you, then edit your source text. And let him translate again. Translate it back to Chinese again. Not precisely it turns out again? Try to structure your statements and individual words in such a way that result of reverse translation is clear.
    2) Use English-Chinese online dictionary for verification as well. You can use electronic version of dictionary (in .djvu, .pdf formats, etc.). To check correct choice of sense words of sentence.
