Is there a way to edit lines to represent griffon flight or horse travel paths?
I know it is convenient to jump off midway at times to save back tracking.

    Any helpful replies appreciated

As far as I know there's no way to do it, short of hacking the EQ2MAP files (if you use that addon), and you changes would disappear every time you updated the maps.

Technical issue aside, if the flights were direct it could be useful. In some cases, the path would be real ugly. Like in Fens of Nathasar, flying from Omen's Call to the Cabilis post, which is just around the hill to the northeast. The flight path goes over Riliss, then all the way down to Sathir's Span, then backtracks all the way back up north to get to Cabilis.

If you just want a method of locating a conveinient place to jump off whilst travelling there's nothing to stop you having your map open at the same time as travelling. The map will be centred around your current location so will move as you do. Simply jump when close to your destination.
