by default AA is disabled completely in EQ2 (at least it was in beta) in order to use AA do the following steps 1) open notepad 2) type in the following line, r_aa_blit 1 3) save this as eq2.ini 4) place the eq2.ini file in your everquest2 directory AA will now work in the game just set it to whatever you prefer on your video card 2xAA, 4xAA, etc enjoy a non-jaggy EQ2!!! :smileyhappy:
nps ... I am hoping in the near future we can have a checkbox for AA in options like we have for v-sync :smileywink:
Hi Loren, That's a great idea, Thanks for that information, it seems to have helped quite a few people. Message Edited by TSR-RobertE on 11-09-2004 10:39 AM
Thank you, thank you! I can't stand to see this jagged graphics I thought something was wrong with my driver etc for my 6800Ultra. Sticky this!
Thanks, so far, this seems to have fixed it. I tried turning on AA and AF in my driver before adding this .ini and it would make ghosts of what was on my screen every time I moved. I'm using 66.81 driver on Geforce 6800 GT.
