how do you mend equipment with a free account

    I was on a free account and went to a mender to fix the equipment and it wouldn't let me. How do you mend equipment with a free account. I tried the search feature to find info already.

    Menders work the same on all accounts. You don't want to hit the bright orange station cash mend button though. That is not free/pay that is 'use station cash to mend rather then in game currency'.
    Next to the bright orange button there should be a button that says 'mend' or 'repair'. I forget which.. don't have a toon that needs repair at the moment.

    A few menders require a certain faction before they'll talk to you.

    also if you don't have enough money to do it the button will be grayed out
