Please help me get better frames on this game! I have a computer that works excellent for planetside 2 (another SOE game) that is hard to get 60 FPS on. My specs: i5 3570k 3.4ghz gtx 760 8gb ram http://pcpartpicker.com/p/fRbHGX I don't exactly know my frame rates but they are poor.
There is a FPS/Ping monitor, F11 is (I think) the default key. Biggest improvement to FPS is to switch off shadows From the Game Menu (the EQII button). select options, then select Display - this is top of the list so is usually already selected, expand the Shadows section by clicking the + button, and in the shadow type dropdown select None. This is the quick and dirty way to improve FPS, without spending a week experimenting with the host of options available.
