I was thinking about how complex EQ2 is, and how it can be daunting coming back to it, let alone starting it new... I was thinking about some kind of system where older players could "adopt" newer players to help them out. Something like new players or returning players could "opt in" to a mentor system, and older players could then pick from an in game listing of people to Mentor or help. Nothing permanent, but say you are just doing some decorating and available for questions ect, you could look for a newb to give help too... Just a rough thought though, not fleshed out.
