    Who are we?
Founded in 1998, the Legion of the White Rose is a guild founded on the ideas of long term stability, strong personal ideals, and focused goal achievement - all on a casual schedule.
Our members come from all walks of life: teachers, technicians, engineers, pilots, doctors, truck drivers, veterans, and everything in-between. We enjoy our time online and strive to make the most of it. We love chatting, grouping, listening to Thistleclaw tease Slabs, and raiding three to four nights each week.
    Who do we want?
The Legion is looking for quality individuals who wish to join something more than "just a Guild." Ideal candidates for membership are independantly motivated, vocal, enthusiastic, and active.
Whether seeking to raid or not, all applicants should be of strong character and self-motivated. We'll help you out, but not if you're just looking for hand-outs. Keep in mind that most Legionnaires are working folks with good family lives who treat their limited online time seriously. We plan events and groups in advance to make the most of the time we spend in-game. Our officers keep our guild up-to-date on upcoming patches and changes to the game so that our members don't have to spend hours scouring fansites and web portals. When we're online, we want to spend time getting things done. You should, too.
We're not concerned about your gear or your AA. We're looking for long term members, not short term mercenaries. Gear and AA can be acquired - what we're looking for are people who fit our guild that we can invest in for the long term.

    Should you apply?
If you're thinking we might be a good fit for you, you're encouraged to speak with a Legion recruiter first. As a guild, we don't fall neatly into any of the labels you might be used to - we're not hardcore or casual; we're family friendly but we're not a traditional family guild; we're not a raid guild but we do raid frequently against new content.
If you're a lower level player, be aware that nearly all of our members have at least one or two level 90 characters which we spend the majority of our time on. Though we do run mentoring groups and lower level "alt" groups several times each week, lower level players should be comfortable soloing.
If you do not raid, you should remember that the majority of the guild does. Even though we group quite a bit on our non-raid nights and throughout the weekend, on the nights we do raid, it will be harder to form groups. We also provide full benefits to all of our members, whether or not they raid. Membership gives all members access to guild tradeskillers, tradeskilling supplies, mending, banking, and several other perks. These benefits are paid for by the guild's raid force.
If you do want to raid, be aware that joining the guild will not guarantee a spot in the raid force. Class needs, attendance consistency, gear, and performance will all impact who sits out on any particular night. Due to our strict scheduling constraints, our raids are scheduled for three hours each and when time is up, we're done. Though raids are not considered mandatory within the Legion, we do use a DKP style points system which rewards more active members of the guild. We also maintain a monthly coin split which is based on raid attendance.
If you're still interested in a guild that you can grow with for years to come, please visit our website for more information and to file an application at www.legion-whiterose.com. All applications are responded to within hours by guild officers.
