I've been told a fae would make a good fury. Would someone mind giving me more information on furies?
They smite mobs with lightning bolts, repeatedly. And their heals are like, leafy and ****. So I guess a fae would make a good fury.
Fury is a hybrid class - can do some relatively decent damage (but not as good as a wizard), has relatively good AOE damage spells, and good heals (group heals and cures especially) but not quite as good as some other healers. Has quicker spell reuse than a warden. My main is a fury, and if teamed with a tank merc can pretty much deal with (just about) anything.
Good furies can do as much dps on ae content as mediocre wizards!~ There were times I was 4th-5th on the parse on long lasting 4-8 mobs encounters.
What exactly heal class do you mean? Furies are the best group healers. For example, I could keep my mage group alive on Irdal (not sure if this is correct name) when other groups with two healers fall. Even if there is a warden.
Group heals, yes - single heals, not so good. Not bad, mind you - just not quite as good. Guess depends on AA set up as well.
It makes no difference, no race is better suited to be something than any other. Just pick a race based on how you want your toon to look.
Racial "benefits" are so negligible as to really be a non factor when choosing a class or tradeskill class. By end game I cannot say that any of the racial attributes ever mattered a bit to my play. As Malleria said, pick what ya like and go play.
Racial traits make .000000001 difference end game. Play what you want. Personally my fury is a Fae. But I was a half elf too for a hot second (for tracking.) In the end, I liked the look and feel for the Fae best. All of my toons are Fae or Arasai (even my Monk.) Truly, it doesn't matter at all.
Fae's and Arasai used to be awesome in certain parts of PVP....glide made long jumping so fun to avoid other users.
Why does this thread exist? I have simple answer you. How can one learn if one does not ask questions? To me your post seems out of place. Leave something constructive next time. Thank you.
