Hi, i wonder if there is a formula to calculate, what lvl-range can be between differenct chars in a group, to still let all get xp ?

I think there must be a formula, because 5 lvls difference is something else when lvl 15, or when lvl 75.
Would be nice to help me out.

I'm pretty sure the basic rule is if the player were a mob, if they would con green or higher, you can group together and both get xp. If they would con gray, then the higher person will need to mentor.

After about 30 or so (possibly late 20s, I haven't tested it in a long time and don't recall exactly), you can group with anyone within 10 levels above or below. So a level 75 could group with either a level 65 or a level 85.

Below 30 it's less, and how much less depends on your actual levels.

in eq1 its highest lvl x(3/4) but at least 5 so probably something like this. Mobs also need to not be gray for the highest level. Can always use mentoring otherwise :D
