Raiders, We will be returning the Firebrand Pearls's as able to be obtained from the General Teku encounter in the Fabled Plane of War. Due to the complex nature of the script involving the death of General Teku and Rallos Zek we were unable to get this issue fixed and tested in time for this past update on 9/22. As such, we removed them from the calculation for costs and they will be obtainable once again as part of the next update. When that happens, the prices on the merchant will NOT be reverted back to previous costs. Unless something changes, we will likely not be able to apply the change until the next update which is currently scheduled for October 13th. Sorry for any confusion.
Thanks for the update. Glad to hear they are coming back. The confusion came from the fact that the pearls were dropping from Teku prior to the update and after the update they weren't.
I really do not understand why it is so complex since the script is exactly like it was back in the day. Another confounding thing is that why reduce the pearl cost of items and then remove the pearls altogether. I think the only logical thing would be to further reduce its cost or increase pearls dropped when they go back into the game to make up for the lost time by guilds.
