Is she alive or not? I'm getting kind of confused from the quests. It sounds like she died, but was resurrected or something? How does that work?
The basic gist of the story is that Inny's trap sucked part of Erollisi's essence and all of Ullurok's into a statue made by Varic Ro. When Erollisi's essence was released from the statue, she was able to revive herself. Technically speaking, she wasn't "dead" but was helpless. Ullurok was also released and seems to have gained a little power from the incident. More than likely the trap wouldn't of worked if the demi-goddess hadn't of been willing to hold whoever tripped the trap.
yep. the gist is that Ully/Inny convince Varig Ro (who has a thing for E.Marr) to make a statue of her, to have blessed by Mithaniel, as a token of his affection. but they placed a trap on it, so that when Mith touches it to bless it, it would suck him in and effectively 'kill' him as far as mortals/pantheon is concerned. the trap is Ully herself bound into the statue. E.Marr learns of it, and sacrifices herself instead. leaving behind a 'corpse' while the rest of her is in the statue. Mithaniel takes the body and places it in a casket, mourning his sister and her sacrifice, that effects/corrupts the Shard of Love. We go and slap some sense into Mithaniel, and he breaks the casket, freeing the portion of E.marr that is the 'corpse'. when you do that, you also see some black dustbunnies flow out..that's part of Ully. those dustbunnies we found had infected Annalisa Swornlove. she works with us, hoping to break the magics that turned the statue into a big prison...thinking then that she is still helping E.Marr...but in actuality, Ully is control her to get herself free, believe that E.Marr is gone and she can get free herself. Anna succumbs to Ully, becoming the avatar/vessel of the Lady of Insurrection after we break the seal. We go to face Ully/Anna..hoping to basically exercise Ully out of Anna. but we're too late, Anna is dead/just a shell, and Ully is in full control. and Ully is about to deal with us, the E.Marr shows up. Basically calling Ully an idiot for thinking that freeing herself from the statue wouldn't let her out as well, she forces Ully back to the Plane of Hate. We ask her to make a bargain with Drinal to bring back Anna like she did with Drinal's Steward( Calum), and she refuses to saying she won't make a deal like that again. then she says she needs to head to the planes/council to get up to speed on what's going on and to help how she can, and that's where the story has left off at this point.
