Have you tried disabling any custom UI elements or checking for similar problems in their documentation/community? The stack trace denotes that the XUL library (the component that turns XML configuration files into user interface components) was fed some invalid data where it was supposed to be given some text, and the ProfitUI errors may not be a coincidence.

I've been having random client crashing as well. It seamed to start at about the time went live GU54. Some times it crashes while zoning but other times it's crashed when I've let my character auto-afk. I'll come back, move my mouse, try to click something and then the client crashes. Most of the time when the client crashes while in auto-afk it acts as if I typed the cmd of /exit.
I noticed that the unhandled exception seams to be the same error as the OP. Unfortunatly, due to the randomness of these crashes, I can't simply turn off my custom UI and 'check it out'. Sometimes it crashes multiple times in a day and sometimes it's a week before crashes.

The "check it out" part would be looking through community support and documentation for ProfitUI like the kind found here. Just searching that forum for "crash" brings up a bunch of possibilities, including some around the time of GU53/54.

    Hi all,
These crashes appear to be happening in xul.dll, which is part of the embedded Mozilla browser. These types of crashes are a little more difficult for us to track down as they're not happening in SOE's code.
We'll look into this and see what we can find out.

If that's the case, perhaps telling them to install Mozilla if they haven't is an option?

The game ships with all the appropriate Mozilla libraries and files; no additional install should be needed (nor would it affect the client's embedded browser).
    Thanks for the suggestion though!

If this is the case why then do I have to manually install msvcp71.dll every time I've installed eq2; in order to get the ingame browser to stop giving me error messages saying that file is missing. This happens across mutiple os's, from xp to win 7 both 32 & 64 bit versions.

It doesn't effect everyone but do a Google search for MSVCP71.dll + EQ2 and see what comes up, i know quite a few people that have had this problem and had to do the same

Having done years of software testing and having run into this issue and similar with different applications on different platforms.. Quite simply, it's because a lot of applications install their own version of this file. Whether or not it is the 'real' version, the time stamp gets changed and other applications may see it as not the true one or an anti-virus app will, because of the changed time stamp, view it as infected and 'quarentine' or remove it. Or it gets written to a location one application wants but another can't find it there. It can also happen if you install a graphics card/driver (or other internal device or driver) -after- patching Windows and not patching yet again after your install a card or update a driver.

I can confirm that i experience random crashing when i have the in game browser open and i hover over multiple links. It doesn't happen every time but frequent enough i try to use my external browser. This typically happens when i am examining an item and trying to pull it up on Wiki or Lootdb

There is more info here http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...468204&#5229280 from another thread with the same issue. My wife and I have been playing around with this a bit as her alt does this error consistantly. We did find that it is much more prone to happening if she is two boxing for one reason or another. She had my swash up and Panaceia up on the second screen (same computer) and you can almost guarantee Panaceia will crash within 15-30 minutes. The crash is random as far as we can tell. We are not trying to open browsers etc. just running through zones and fighting. She also tried her main toon with madcap up and madcap started crashing the same but prior with panaceia madcap was not. Have not completely confirmed if it may be just the second instance that crashes yet, but it is kinda looking like that. If you play any of our toons alone you can play for extended periods of time but still crash periodically.
