I have a few questions about monks. I've started a High Elf paladin because they seem like fun, but in EQ I was a monk, and enjoyed it quite a lot. Here are a few of my questions for you beta-monks. How does Feign Death work with the locked encounter model? Does it unlock the encounter and wipe the hate list? Does it unlock the encounter and NOT wipe the hate list? does it wipe the hate list and not unlock the encounter? Yeep. Also, do we do DPS any better than any other classes? The way it sounds, no classes do DPS better than any other. Monks = Paladins? I'm OK with that, a bit bothered but not enough to *****, I just want to know where I stand, that's all. Also, any aditional comparison / disparity between EQL monks would be good. EQ live is what I know, so it's the easiest place to start. I realize it's a different game, but it's a good Baseline, if you'll pardon an engineering term.
