The biggest priest issue is there are no itemization that work well for priests. Imo.

To be more clear, practiced/uplifting proc on offensive abilities not heals, so the items are strictly worse for healers.

Tank items will go to tanks.

    Uplifting will go to t1's.

Practiced will go to utility (bards/chanters).

Putting practiced on healers is ok albeit inferior to utility, because not all of their casts have a chance to proc them, it makes it strictly worse.

From a guilds standpoint who enjoys working together to progress, this leaves healers feeling that they will cripple their potential as a raid force by taking ANY gear until EVERYONE else has it.

To fix this allow both practiced and uplifting to proc on heals, modified by a proc co-efficient that takes into consideration the fact that the heal will hit 6 people.

    EZPZ.

Should only take a morning to design it(the code already exists for ToV items that proc'd on heals, just needs to have #'s tweaked) and apply it to all the uplifting/practiced.

    Hope it makes it through.

    What dark said, plus:

Where are healer endgame jewelry pieces? Here's the ENTIRE endgame jewelry set:

http://u.eq2wire.com/item/index/1027023117 <- ok for a healer, has dps proc that only triggers on offensive so better for dps.
http://u.eq2wire.com/item/index/20753844 <- ok for a healer, has dps proc that only triggers on offensive so better for dps
http://u.eq2wire.com/item/index/721409442 <-- procs only on offensive, has WBD both of which make it much better for dps
http://u.eq2wire.com/item/index/1027023117 <- ok for a healer, has dps proc that only triggers on offensive so better for dps
http://u.eq2wire.com/item/index/3566999186 <-- procs only on offensive, has WBD both of which make it much better for dps
http://u.eq2wire.com/item/index/4104206318 <- ok for a healer, but downgrade from regular amp ring since this would have a healer give up CB/pot for WBD, which does little for healer, dps class would also need it more.
http://u.eq2wire.com/item/index/4044125699 <-- ok for a healer, but doesn't proc on half our spellcasts, so is much more effective on utility or dps, therefore better for them.
http://u.eq2wire.com/item/index/3566568627 <- ok for a healer, has dps proc that only triggers on offensive so better for dps.
http://u.eq2wire.com/item/index/746100796 <-- good for healers! but obvoiusly tank stats and clicky. so better for tanks.

NOT ONE SINGLE JEWELRY ITEM THAT IS HEALER PRIORITY. and even those items that a healer MIGHT wear, why would any guild give them to a healer when it would be of greater benefit to the raid to give it someone else?

But hey, there are also some rare mythical items! Yay!

http://u.eq2wire.com/item/index/2863536749 <- only imporves offensive abilities. ok for healer, but would always go to DPS first. why doesn't this have base heals? (not to mention that "base damage" is still a significantly stronger stat than "base heals", so even if it DID Have same % of base heals, it would still ALWAYS go to a dps class).

http://u.eq2wire.com/item/index/1571097860 <- not usable by healers (but usable by scouts!) and even if it were.. offensive buff only.

Making stuff proc on heals is a step, but honestly, it's a small step and one that wouldn't change the fact that all these items would STILL be better for dps classes even if they procced on heals.

To be healer-relevant, the part of the item that applies to HEALERS needs to be more valuable to the raid than the piece of it that upgrades DPS, because as long as the item upgrades DPS more, it will be better for a dps class.

I have over the years posted many constructive suggestions for how to fix this. I am happy to provide many more, but at this point, i simply don't want to spend a great chunk of time writing up long constructive posts just so that they can get deleted without explanation or get ignored by the development team that no longer considers their own official forums as the main source of communication with its community.

If any of the devs still care enough about the community to check its forums or enough about the game to want to fix things, feel free to PM me and i'll be thrilled to provide you with lots and lots of constructive suggestions - just like i have been for years.
