Does anyone else have a problem of game wanting to redownload and reinstall randomly?

Every few months I log in and the game decided to redownload the entire game and reinstall it. I have no idea why it does this. I haven't uninstall it or played around with any of the files. I'm getting tired of waiting a couple of hours whenever it decides to do this.

Does anyone know whats going on?

yes I'm having the exact same problem again today myself and I really wish it would stop. so frustrating to randomly log on and it's trying to re-install the game and take forever out of no where I was seriously about to call soe.

You can by-pass the launcher and use the everquest2.exe in the directory.
