There are numerous brawler gis that have been nothing more than a tunic for the better part of a decade, and yet there are still some brawler gis that are full-body appearances. There are "robes" that are nothing more than the chestpiece as well. This is nothing new. There were chestpiece robes back in Planes of Prophecy, and the D'Morte robe follows the VoV Robe appearances that existed unchanged for a full expansion now.
