DirectX error

    Has anyone seen this error and know how to fix it?

    Everquest 2 has detected an unrecoverable error and must shut down

    <verify> G:\live\eq2\framework\core\devices\webcam.cpp(1347):DirectX error. (ERROR_MOD_NOT_FOUND)

    I have updated all drivers, DirectX, got the latest service packs as well. I put in a request for help 24 hours ago and have hears nothing back

    As an educated guess, webcam.cpp is likely used for facial recognition with 'SOEMote' (unless they decided to go Big Brother). I posit that disabling SOEMote might resolve your issue as a workaround.
