Debuffs

I've been noticing that using debuffs while soloing is counter-productive since two patches ago. It is much, much more efficient to simply not use the debuffs and focus on DD casts. This didn't used to be the case... debuffs made the mobs visibly easier to take on.

Am I the only one seeing this?

Now, if debuffs were simply providing no benefit, you'd expect not applying them to provide a boost, since you are not wasting that time getting hit, and are applying HO's instead. I'm going to try to do some testing today by looking at damage done and damage taken on like mobs both with and without debuffs.

From what I understand, some of the debuffs were stacking (some with themselves) and this was changed recently. It particularly impacted the guardian class. I would not be suprised if this somehow downgraded our abilities. I have not tested the effects since the patch, but I will soon.

Anecdotally, last night I thought I saw a large difference fighting clay guardians with Iniquity on the mob or not.
