+Damage/+Crit

    Which is more effective with a higher level illusionist? Also, what is a good number to target for best effects?

    +Dmg caps @50 % of spell dmg ,so if spell does 1000-1200 , +dmg will max out at 500-600. so about +500-700+dmg mod is safe. after that you wont see any spell dmg increase.
    +Crit is better imo, my UB is normally 1278-1492 dmg, i have +35% crit chance and it crits for about 1600-1800, with a rare 2000. with higher +crit, can hit that more often, not sure if there is a cap on +crit.
    i remember reading somewhere that excess +dmg will be factored in on a crit spell hit, but not sure iirc , so dont quote me on that.
