Hello, I'm in the process of getting some Heritage quests done and I messed up by killing the Octagorgon for "Stiletto's Orders" without having "An Axe from the Past" at the same time. So now I need it again but the zone apparently needs to reset before I can get Octagorgon again. Does anyone know how long the reset on this zone is? Or does the zone never reset, leaving me unable to ever finish this.
According to both ZAM and eq2i, the lockout for a successful zone sweep is 18 hours. I suggest checking your Zone Reuse list (default is Alt + Z); if Cove of Decay is not on the "Lockout" tab check "Persistent". If it is under "Persistent" you can select it and see if the "Reset Timer" button lights up, short-cutting the 18 hour delay.
That did it. It was under persistent and on a 3 day lockout. Thank you, I didn't know about that window.
