Do you have any specific ones to list or submit a bug on? Assuming "collar appearance helmets" means items like this one \aITEM -766142105 -302285139:Stoneweave Headgear\/a most of the ones I've checked all show hair. I submitted a bug for the one that doesn't show hair. Obviously this doesn't mean it's the only one as I've only checked a few helms. It may be easier to track down/fix if given an actual list of items that got broken.
It seems to happen with every one I've tried with all my characters and i know others can see it too since i asked if they saw my hair after i equipped the collar peace in the head slot.
