Cannot reach character select

    I tried logging in yesterday, 10/9/2019, and again today, 10/10/2019, and in both cases am getting the same results: I can login to the launcher fine, then I click Play. The client launches -- and then eventually times out on connecting. I don't even get a list of my characters - just "lost connection to server".

    Someone else I know was having no problems though. Thoughts, anyone?

    Are you pre-selecting a Character to log directly into?
    Have you tried by-passing the LaunchPad and using EverQuest2.exe from the %\EverQuest II\% directory?

    A friend had this problem for 3 weeks, never got an answer to his petition. Finally a maintenance fixed it.
