This has also happened to me in live. After assigning AAs I click on Save. Never see the Commit button lite. Recast spells. Find out it takes a long time to bring down a simple mob. So far some days later things fix themselves. Can't go adventuring until my AAs are recognized.
When it gets stuck like that I usually switch it to either Server Basic Leveling Profile Group, Or Server Basic Leveling Profile PVP, commit that, then switch it back to whatever I want it to be and commit it.. it will usually unstick whatever is hanging it up. It not a real fix, but it is an effective workaround. Sometimes you will find that you need to zone or discover something, or harvest something, or kill something or some other such nonsense to get it to realize the AA's need to commit, but thats rare and I dont know how to get past it.
